Meeting the Future Workforce Needs in Screen Industries

We held this roundtable at Minghella Studios, University of Reading, for an engaging session focused on the skills needs of Berkshire’s fast-growing Screen Industries sector, where we heard from Dominic Lees, Associate Professor in Filmmaking, and explored the latest findings from REDA’s research into current and future skills requirements.

The group discussions covered everything from technical production skills and creative talent to the wider employability skills needed to support the sector’s growth. It was great to hear different perspectives from employers, FE and HE, with lots of useful insights shared around the table.

The LSIP team took away plenty of valuable input to help shape the Plan going forward.
